The understanding that an individual is ethically accountable for the welfare and fulfillment of tasks, goals and objectives means that the person has quite a degree of self responsibility. For instance, if a person assigns a task to accomplish on his or her own will and the person performs the task accurately and is able to render account and fulfill personal obligations such a person is said to be self responsible.
Self responsibility is about being able to trust yourself with certain goals and objectives which could lead to good judgment and sound thinking. It could also improve self-confidence, morale, level of social interaction and so on. for example, a student has the duty to read, ask questions and understand the courses he or she are studying, and this leads to the self responsibility of doing well in examinations.
From the example above, we can say that a student has the sole responsibility of choosing to excel in the exams or failing, so do employers, business executives, employees and so on. A lot of people need to understand the importance of being self responsible as it can have a major impact on their way of living. You need to understand what is good for you and what is not. Self responsibility enhances trustworthy performance of fixed duties and the implementation of those tasks and duties which enables one to have a good opinion of one's self and others.
In conclusion, by being self responsible we are enhancing our capacity to improve on our daily tasks, duties and objectives which in turn leads to increased confidence level in individuals.
